Rotaract Club of South Barbados – End or year Instillation ceremony

On June 30th, 2012, the Rotaract Club of South Barbados held their End of Year Dinner & Instillation Ceremony at the home of Immediate Past Vice President Catherine Trotman. The grounds for the event was transformed for the several Rotaractors, Rotarians, their families and specially invited guest who attended what prove to be an enchanting evening. Our Sergeant-at-Arms for the past year Mr. Myles Philips ably led the evening’s proceedings as the Master of Ceremonies. Our Immediate Past President Karen Perch gave her heartfelt end of year address and presented certificates of appreciation to a few Rotaractors who played a significant role in the club’s ability to carry out its mandate for the previous year. Dinner bells rang soon afterward; and the guests were ushered to the buffet table where they were greeted by a sumptuous menu. The second part of the night’s ceremony included the induction of three new charming male members into the Club and the instillation of passionate new directors for 2012-2013, who were ‘pinned’ in to their posts. President Erica Hall ended the proceedings with her President’s Address; which gave invited guests a taste of what was in store for the upcoming Rotaract year. If this event was anything to by, The Rotaractors of South Barbados should be off to a fine start for 2012-2013.
