Rotaract Club of Paramaribo – Auto’s Wassen Fundraiser
It was a sunny day. And the birds were already chirping early in the morning… “jep jep” …. Rotaract Club Paramaribo was eager to wash everything early. Cars, trucks, bicycles, motorbikes … you name it! Of course we did.. From 8 am until 6 pm we did nothing but wash cars. And when the DJ’s came it was massive. It was just a party. Dancing while cleaning cars. Eating while cleaning cars. Drinking water while cleaning cars. Even a prospective member of the club came with her boyfriend and their baby boy twins to help out… It was marvelous. And just when you think OKAY it is almost six o’clock … We were going to wrap it up… when ROTARIANS came with their rally vehicles. The big cars with posters on them. And no… of course not. You cannot say no to any Rotarian! It was a FUNNNraising activity that ended an hour later than expected. We were all tired at the end. But with the group that came to help out, it is easy to say a job well done. Thank you RCP of reminding us what family and Rotaract is really about!
